Overview:
This two-day course is designed for both novice and experienced implant surgeons in providing immediate dental implants to their patients. The course covers immediacy treatment concepts for single sites in both the anterior and posterior regions. The course is a combination of lectures, hands-on workshops and live surgeries.
The first day will focus on the immediacy concepts for patient evaluation, case planning and CBCT analysis which differs to delayed implant cases. Atraumatic extraction approaches and socket management techniques will be taught to preserve the hard and soft tissue architecture which is critical to long term success.
The second day will focus on the importance of immediate provisionalisation for preservation of the soft tissue architecture and to improve the surgical outcomes with respect to hard and soft tissue graft management.
Extensive time will be spent on hands on exercises for both surgical placement and provisionalisation using indirect and direct techniques. The aim of the course is to provide students with confidence in case selecting the ideal patients for immediate implants and to achieve predictable results.
Immediate implants can help your patients experience a shorter treatment, decreased morbidity, better clinical outcomes and more efficient treatment pathways with significant cost savings.
